How to Automate Group Emails

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

  1. Navigate to the Groups page.

  2. Find the group that you want to send an email to.

  3. On the far right of the card, click the three dots.

  4. Select "Create Automation".

  5. At the top of the page, confirm your group is selected.

  6. Select "Create" on the Send Email card.

  7. Add a subject and body to the email.

  8. In the top right corner, click "Review"
    (look at the notes below for automation behavior).

  9. Select "Launch".

Notes

  • If you want to run the automation only once, leave the default settings.

  • If you want to send an email to someone when they are added to the group, check the radio button at the bottom of How Will This Automation Run.

  • Be aware that this automation will run every day at 9 a.m.

  • Understand that it will stop running at midnight tonight to avoid sending emails at 3 in the morning.

  • Note that anyone added to the group between midnight and 9 a.m. will receive an email at 9 a.m. the next day.

  • Recognize that anyone added to the group throughout the day will receive the message when they're added.
