Open Ended Questions
What Are Open-Ended Questions?
Open-ended questions (sometimes called Textbox) allow participants to provide qualitative responses in their own words, rather than selecting from predefined answers.
This format is useful for gathering feedback, reflections, and in-depth understanding of a topic.
Scoring Options
Assign points for participation, awarding credit for any response.
Leave unscored if the goal is to collect insights rather than track completion.
Use Cases
Collect Feedback – Gather insights on a lesson, experience, or product.
Encourage Reflection – Have participants log thoughts on a video or challenge.
Assess Understanding – Test comprehension of complex or nuanced topics.
Example: "In two sentences, how would you describe your product?"
