What Is a Wait? (and What Does a Wait Do?)
This is a quick overview of what a wait trigger does in a workflow. It answers the question: How does a Wait work?

Waits allow you to determine which path a contact will be directed down based on events, activities, or fields AFTER a set amount of time.
Waits are very similar to Conditions, and they also include a built in delay. In order to set up a Wait, you will need to understand how Groups work. You will also need to understand:
What must be true about your contacts prior to progressing.
What the next step is for your contacts when they meet (or don't meet) your desired condition.
How long you intend to wait for your contacts to meet the conditions to proceed.
You CANNOT use a wait AFTER a Condition or a Delay.
Also, like a Delay, you can:
Define how much time by a "relative" value like: +15 min, +1 day, etc.
Specify a "specific" time (be sure to use your timezone): 10am CDT*
Combine the relative and specific times: Tomorrow at 1pm PDT*
You can even use day names like this: Friday at 9am EST*
*A time value like "10am" requires a timezone (and note the difference between daylight and standard times)
